This educational activity provides a practical and comprehensive review of imaging of the elbow, wrist, and hand with an emphasis on MRI, ultrasound, sports injuries, arthritis, anatomy, and case-based learning. Expert faculty will discuss common and complex upper extremity conditions to help participants improve diagnostic accuracy and confidence in daily clinical practice.
This CME teaching activity is intended for radiologists, musculoskeletal radiologists, fellows, residents, orthopedic imaging specialists, sports medicine physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the performance, interpretation, or clinical application of musculoskeletal imaging of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
Physicians: Educational Symposia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Educational Symposia designates this enduring material for a maximum of 9.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
All activity participants are required to complete the credit application in order to be awarded credit. Course participants will also have the opportunity to critically evaluate the program as it relates to practice relevance and educational objectives.
AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM for these programs may be claimed until May 31, 2029.
This program is planned and organized by Educational Symposia, a leader in accredited continuing education since 1975.
This activity was planned and produced in accordance with the ACCME Essential Areas and Elements.
At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
-
Review MRI anatomy and imaging protocols of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
-
Identify imaging features of common sports injuries involving the elbow and wrist.
-
Differentiate common pathologic conditions affecting the elbow, wrist, and hand using MRI and ultrasound.
-
Apply practical imaging strategies to challenging musculoskeletal imaging cases involving the elbow and wrist.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
