This CME teaching activity provides a focused update on contemporary imaging and theranostic approaches in prostate cancer and related male genitourinary conditions. Faculty review advances in multiparametric prostate MRI, PET/CT, PSMA-targeted imaging and therapy, evaluation of bone metastases, and common diagnostic pitfalls in prostate and scrotal imaging. The activity emphasizes practical interpretation strategies and clinical application in current practice.
This CME teaching activity is intended for radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, radiology fellows and residents, and other healthcare professionals involved in the imaging evaluation and management of prostate cancer and male genitourinary disease.
Physicians: Educational Symposia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Educational Symposia designates this enduring material for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
All activity participants are required to complete the credit application in order to be awarded credit. Course participants will also have the opportunity to critically evaluate the program as it relates to practice relevance and educational objectives.
AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM for these programs may be claimed until March 14, 2028.
This program is planned and organized by Educational Symposia, a leader in accredited continuing education since 1975.
This activity was planned and produced in accordance with the ACCME Essential Areas and Elements.
At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
-
Apply current principles of multiparametric prostate MRI for detection and staging of prostate cancer.
-
Integrate PET/CT and PSMA-targeted imaging into clinical evaluation and management.
-
Recognize imaging features of prostate cancer metastases and understand contemporary treatment approaches.
-
Identify common pitfalls and mimics in prostate and scrotal imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
